Well it depends.... I just got out of high school and like you already know, all my dances were filled with pure grinding (no complaints here) Something I noticed though is most of the guys don't talk to the girls before grinding with them, they kind of have a tendency to just grab and go, which surprisingly works most of the time, but will hardly get you numbers.
However if you want a chance at getting some numbers, you'll have to introduce yourself before you dance. Not only does that help once your done grinding, but if the girl actually knows a bit about you before you start grinding, she'll feel more comfortable with you... resulting in better grinding (trust me on that one)
Okay.. so once you've grinded for a couple of songs or so, start out with a compliment like; you're a fantastic dancer or you look great or something, that'll be your conversation starter. Once you've said that just basically get into a nice little conversation.. If you notice she doesn't really want to talk then just ditch and find another girl. Most of the time the girls will be impressed by the fact you have enough confidence to even try talking... TRUST ME more than half of the guys at dances are too shy to even try to talk to girls.
So yeah, once you've talked for a bit and you feel you two are getting along just go right on ahead and ask for her number, there's a lot of things you can say... an example would be something along the lines of; you're a great person and i'd like to get to know you better... Stuff like that.
Just remember no girl wants to be hanging with a guy who is all nervous and stuff... Be confident and you'll be swimming in numbers by the end of the night.What to do when i'm done dancing with a girl, at a high school dance?
You grind and you are 14 years old. Gosh, no wonder there are so many teen pregnancies. If you are interested in the girl then you stay with her if she acts interested. If she walks away then she isn't interested in you.
Ask her to dance. A slow song would be better for flirting (and getting numbers).
Ok well the polite thing to do would be to THANK HER!!!!!!!! The ask he if she wants to dance again or needs a rest if she wants to rest offer ot get her punch or something then start talking to her about HER!!!! By the end of the night just say i wanna know you more can i have you number?
Play it cool. At the end of the dance, politely look her in the eye, smile and thank her for the dance.
Courtesy goes a long way. If you stay cool, the girls who are interested will hound you for your attention! I promise it works most every time.
If you end up continuing to dance several dances with one girl, offer to take a break and find some refreshments. This will give both of you time to breathe and see if you have goals in common.
I hope this helps.... If you want to dance just go up to the girl and ask her to dance. After the dance is over either: 1) ask for another dance if she seems cool or 2) tell her thanks and smile and walk away if you don't think she is that cool. Just remember to be nice.
