k dude this is a great way. go up to girl and say ';hey there is this guy that wants to dance with you, he is just over here'; then turn around and walk away about 5-10 steps and then turn around and wave back to her to let her know that you are the one that wants to dance with her

just ask her to dance
You can say ';May I have this dance?'; which is formal, or ';Would you like to dance with me?'; which is less formal. What's the problem? The worst that can happen is she will say no. (I know; the worst is she can giggle. But girls giggle all the time anyway, so don't take it personally.)
when she isn't dancing with anyone else just go up and say do you want to dance just be simple and be yourself

This is easy just say ';would you like to dance'; then when you're danceing talk to her. Say things like ';how am I doing'; ';I wanted to ask you for this dance for a long time now.';
