How to be with a girl at the school dance?

When you take a girl to the school dance, are you obligated to be with her the whole time? Can you just like be with your friends to dance then later slow dance with her?

If you are taking this girl to the dance, then you should spend most of the time at the dance with her. Yes you can hang out with your fiends, but maybe get her into it too. Introduce her to your friends, or if they already know eachother, try striking up a conversation on something you all like.

Now, if she go's off with her friends, feel free to go with yours. But don't stay away for too long, after all, she is your date!

i would totally be fine with that if u werent my boyfriend. but some girls are more ';needy';. if u have a casual relationship she should be fine with it but if its serious probly not. and dont just like blow her off the whole dance and dance with her for only 1 song. u should be with her like half the time. and she has to have friends there too to hang with. and oh i suggest telling her this b4 the dance that u want to slow dance with her but u also want to hang with friends. so theres no surprises.

Well, if she's not a girlfriend or anything then no.......but if your taking her (depending on her point of things) to the dance just make sure you at least dancing with her a little bit......I mean it is the point of a school dance......and don't be rude to her; get there and then hang with your friends the entire time....and only dance with her maybe once or twice, trust me personal experience.....It's no fun when a guy does that.

But have fun while your there.....you deserve a good time as much as she does.....
You would have to include her with your friends.

After all you don't want her to possibly being alone when she went with you.

That's not being a very good host.

Definitely depends on the girl. Most girls I know want to be around their date a lot and get jealous if they dance with other girls. However, they like to be with just their friends, sometimes, too. Maybe you can ask her to find out for sure.
yeah she'd be fine with it. just dont act like you're ignoring her or anything. check on her every once in a while. then dance with her later, or whatever you wanted to do.
You don't go to the dance. Just dump her and avoid her. Girls are nothing but trouble (especially the pretty ones) you would just end up raping her and have a bastard
