How to approach a girl and dance with her in a club?

I am a little hesitant when it comes to dancing with girls in a club. I keep thinking if i get close behind them and start dancing with them, they will walk away or look at me in a weird way.



I am not a bad looking guy but i am hesitant even when a girl makes it a little obvious that she doesn't mind dancing with me.



You expert girls and boys, what are your tips and suggestions?

JUST GO ASK...DONT BE SCARED
Firstly you would approach her and ask if she has a free space on her dance card.

If she has then ask politely if she would enter your name.

Then when that dance is played, take her hand and lead her onto the dance floor
why not just dance alongside her - making eye contact and letting her know you're interested through positive body language.... if she reciprocates - extend your hand out to her to kinda pull her nearer to you and take it from there!

suss the girl out first, your right about going up behind her it does get on some girls nerves so its not a good idea. Make eye contact with the girl that you like and if she smiles and keeps looking your way then make a move, talk to her, offer her a drink, then ask if she would like to dance. Also don't be intimidated by her friends, just ignore them.
