How can i attract a girl in dance class?

we just started dancing in a roatation. im not great at dancing! should i talk to the girls during dancing?

and i get nervous when i dance with a girl shky and i mess up alot. and when a girl smiles at you when your dancing does that mean that she is attracted to you? what should i talk about while dancing.
