i have a guy friend, who i recently became really close to and now i like him.. and i have for over a year. i finally told him, but by text in october (both of us are shy) first he said his feelings were the same, but then the next day he denied liking me... we both have never been in a relationship either... but one of my friends and all of my family says he likes me. my other friends say no because he said he didn't. he does things that show he likes me, like showing off, hanging out with me, calling me everyday, stuff like that...
i asked him to a dance (girls choice) and he said yes... we went, but he wouldn't slow dance...
i was thinking about asking him out by taking his phone and changing the greeting to ';will you go out with me?'; but im shy and afraid he'll say no... and i couldn't figure out how to change his greeting...
my friend said that everyday he hangs out with them after 1st period (same class) and ALWAYS asks where i am and once they say they don't know, he just walks off... last night and the night before he had me log in as him in 2 of his accounts to do something for him.. i've had him check my grades... so we trust each other...
my friend thinks that he denied liking me and didn't slow dance with me cuz he wants it just between us two, and not our friends...
my mom doesn't think i should ask him out. she thinks he should cuz he's the guy... but if i wait, i don't think he'll ever ask me out cuz he's really shy and has never dated before... what should i do?!What should i do? im pretty sure he likes me...?
He's just being insecure. He is new to these feelings and afraid how to act. He doesn't want to look like an idiot or do something wrong. He's afraid of the first kiss and will he do it right. Maybe he's afraid of his parents knowing he likes girls.

Girl and dance trouble.?
k i like this girl who is like an inch and a half taller than me. I danced with het twice and she likes another guy (she told me while dancing cuz i raised the subject..Idiot that i am....) she might not like him since he likes someone else and i got the courage to dance with her....
Anyways I dnt want to go out with her till next year. So dont say that. How should i figure out she likes me... This sounds pitiful but i told my friend to subtely accidentally tell her. PLZ HELP
Also at the last dance i didnt dance to the crowd fast songs or sadly to the slow one si just sat there sulking...... But at a party i got the guts to ask her to dance.......mentioned above ... (i think)she said yes.
But wut do i do at dances 4 fast songs i feel retarded dancing to them when i dont know how....... ive tried learning to breakdance and anything else....nothing is free./.... and free stuff is 2 hard........helpGirl and dance trouble.?

How can i deal with braces at this dance?
i am going to a girls- choice dance in 5 days. i am the only one that still has braces. i got them in august of 2008. my teeth are perfectly straight and my bite is almost perfect. i am the only girl in my group that still has braces. im concerned that in out pictures people will notice and think that im not as pretty because i have braces. how do i help my feelings?How can i deal with braces at this dance?

If you are still concerned, you can smile with your mouth closed in pictures. Personally though, I would just relax and enjoy it because when you grow up, you will enjoy looking through the photos. It looks to me like she found you very attractive but wanted a better offer than just casual sex. It's likely she was open to the idea of getting to know you better and maybe a relationship.

Last summer I went on to this basketball camp and met this really nice girl who plays basketball in the girls team. On the way back, I bravely asked her number and became friends.
We were on msn about 3 hours every day, just talkin. We text messaged on lesson, called in the middle of lessons. We both knew that we liked eachother. We rarely saw face to face, so we never learned to speak that well. I'm only 13 now by the way, shes a year older. I'm 6'2 and matured early, so I'm more in to older girls. At one point, I said something that broke the massive texting. Nothing rude, just told that we should only keep as good friends, don't know why.We soon just talked now and then, but stayed as 'friends'.
This year I went to a basketball camp even though I didn't know if my knees could take it, since I knew she was coming. It was nice to see her and the first two days we talked a bit now and then and everything seemed good. On the third day there was a disco, and the girl danced alot with this one guy from my age team (I play with older). Of course I was a bit annoyed, but I didnt let it bother me and danced with other, taller girls that I knew. Shes around 7 inches shorter than me anyways.
The last two days were horrible. I text messaged every morning and evening like before in the camp, and I told her I wanted to keep as friends. She wanted it too. I don't know why, but the last day, she only hanged out with my age guys (who I find really childish, sorry) and we didn't even look into eachothers eyes.
Now the camp is over and I really want to stay friends. I don't want to steal hear from the other guys she likes, but just be able to talk with her. What should I do?How do I get close with this girl again? Please, help!?
